My random ride

On Sat, May 30, I went on a ride myself from Purdue West. It was a random ride to cheer myself up from the gloomy mood these days. Indeed, I was touched during my ride by seeing the scenery. That was not my first time on that trail, but each time I have different feelings. There were some decent conversation between me and God.

It started raining at the last 5 miles of my ride. All I thought of was to speed up and reach home soon. Unfortunately, I fell from my bike "again" upon that rush. A railroad came right after a down hill, and I couldn't brake due to the speed and few fraction. That was how the tragedy happened.

I was in the middle of nowhere. When I tried to stand up, I found myself bleeding and the bike couldn't move. At the same time, the rain started pouring down. I made a call to a friend Barrett after struggling for a while. Thankfully, he came right away to rescue me. His home became the urgent health care center to help me clean and put on medical salve, and Brandon (Barrett's roommate) went to the pharmacy right away to buy me the stuff I need at home.

It was such a dramatic day that I experienced that much. I am really being a fortunate girl. Not breaking my leg and having someone to save me. God is bringing so much to me. I wish I know how to pay back to them. Meanwhile, the lesson is riding extra cautious in the future.
