Although you have no choice on some specific things, most of thetime you got the opportunity to choose. Choices are around oneself, it depends on our awareness and ability to grab the chances.

For different kinds of events, we face various difficulties. Without knowing howto react, we feel depressed and confused. However, the absence of choice is frequent. Upon studying, career, friendship, rommance and so on, we got the chanceto choose. We could study and focus on what we are interested, we choose the careerthat is realted to our habit and ability, we choose friends that have same opinion with us, and we choose the one we love as a lover. Of course that choices could not appear anywhere, it is important to see it at the right time and right place. Onceyou find a chance satisfy you, take it without heasitating.

According to experience of my own when I was a freshman in college, I face the dillema whether to stay in the department of economic or transfer to my prior goal- department of computer science. It was struggling to choose between them for I was not sure aboutwhat I can learn from the department of computer science even I had listened to severalfriends and relatives sharring with me. At the same time, I don't really hate economic, and I earned good grades on the subject when I was in the department of economic. At last, I made the decision to transfer to department of computer science for I thought it was a good choice to me. It would be tougher for me to earn a chance to tranfer to computer science later, and I was able the learn the events and subjects of economic by myself. Looking back to the past now, I would not regret for making the decision.Perhaps I didn't earn that good grades on Computer Science and I am not smarter than other classmates in this field, I learned a lot here. I appreciate for the choice to tranfer to Computer Science, and I see that if I hope so, I still get the chance to switch to other fields.

Still, there are some things that you really have no chance to choose. We couldn'trelate them to the rarity of choice, they were determind originally. As if the parentsof oneself, the appearence of one , the requirement to obey law, these are all determined. Something and someone are born to be them, it is one's speciality. It is the essence of one, so we don't have to think the choice of the circumstance is rare.

Most of all, knowing what you want is the main point. Since you have a model and prescience of your own, you would see the choices at some time or create the choice for yourself. Once you see the goal of yourself, you could grab those choices wheneverthey appear.
